What is SXSW 2021?
South by Southwest, colloquially referred to as South By and stylized as SXSW is an annual assemblage of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. It started in 1987 and with time, it started to grow every year in size and scope. The popularity of SXSW can be measured by its 2017 celebrations. In 2017,its celebrations lasted for 10 days, interactive track lasting for 5 days, music for 7 days and film for 9 days.
SXSW 2021:
The annual event of SXSW 2021 is not too far. It is scheduled to take place in March and the dates are March 12-20, the dates are virtual however month is confirmed. For SXSW 2021, a huge number of participants have been invited. Total number of attendants for SXSW 2021 would be as, SXSW Music: 28,119, SXSW Interactive: 30,621, SXSW Film: 16,297, SXSW EDU: 4,260, Other Exhibits/Parties: 152,000.
In addition to the three main South by Southwest festivals, the company also runs other conferences and festivals like SXSW EDU, me convention and SXSW Eco etc.
