Tourism is the most popular activity in the world. There are many places on earth which are not less than heaven if compared. These places are valuable asset for tourists and owner countries. Many countries that have God gifted places for tourism are earning a handsome revenue from tourism. Besides earnings, lot of money is spent to make these places popular and more beautiful. 

China is the country who spends most on tourism and travel. Chinese tourists travel the most for tourism. Between 2009 to 2015, the strength of Chinese tourist for US increased from 520 thousands to 2.59 millions. 

Hong Kong is the most popular destination for Chinese tourists. Macao and Taiwan are second most, however after improved infrastructure and routes, European countries like France, UK and Germany are also becoming popular for them. 

After all these state and a huge number of outbound tourism, Chinese tourists are not loved for tourism by host countries. A UK-based market research and data analytics firm conducted a research and according to this research, Chinese tourists are most disliked in the world. 

Here are some of the reasons that makes Chinese tourists unpopular among tourists nations. 

1: Mess with system:

Chinese tourists often don't follow the rules and regulations of host country. They are famous in creating mess, destroying art installations while taking selfies, fighting with others during visit. In a famous incident, one of the Chinese tourists threw a coin in jet engine. They are even unpopular in the countries they visit most. They take selfies and photos with flash where it is prohibited. 

2: Money but no manners:

Chinese tourists have money that's why they are at top in outbound tourism. However one thing that every host country residents admit is that Chinese tourists don't have manners at all. They rudely behaved worldwide. One such incident took place in Hong Kong when a mother allowed her child to urinate on the road. This made hosts unhappy and some tried to stop her. In return she slapped one person and rammed another with pram. They feel no bad in cutting queues, pushing other tourists and creating a big fuss over small things. 

3: Cultural Differences:

A lot can be read about Chinese culture on the web. One reason behind disliking is their culture which makes them unpopular outside. For example giving tips is considered good gesture but for Chinese people, there is no culture of this good thing. For other nations, superstitions are past things but Chinese people are still living with these. They strictly observe these things that makes Chinese tourists unpopular too. 

4: Rude with other tourists:

To poke a nose in other's matters is not a good thing for most of the tourist nations in fact this is considered rudeness. But incase of Chinese tourists, they will never consider it rudeness, they will poke their nose no matter where they are like restaurants, train stations, occasions etc. For Chinese  tourists, Crowding instead of queueing, pushing to the front of a line, not saying “thank you", talking loud, smoking in public, pushing others etc are common things which makes them unpopular among other tourists. 

5: Distract others:

Rules are made to keep the people in some limit. They are made for the wellness and safety of public. In European countries, governments expect their citizens to follow these rules and they properly do so but these are the foreigners who distract the native citizens to break the rules. Chinese tourists are at the top of the list in this field. They will speak loudly in public, carve their names or something on tourist attractions, cross the road during red signal and spit anywhere on the floor. These bad habits distract others to do so. That's why Chinese tourists are not liked mostly in European countries. 

These are some of the bad behaviours which make Chinese tourists unpopular in the world. 

Things are changing:

As all the fingers are not equal so is in the case of Chinese tourists. There is a huge number of good people who observe all the laws and behave well outside. There are a few people who create these types of problems for other Chinese. Govt is trying their best to keep these types of rouges away from tourism by keeping their names in blacklist for future.
