As the India has one of the biggest market for utilities and technology too so the security threats are also higher. Due to this reason India has to ban lot of games and apps that are security threat for its sovereignty. 

Recently India banned a huge number of Chinese apps due to ongoing clashes and threats. Other reason for banning games is India's young population. They are so fond of video games that recently a number of young ones lost their lives due to defeats in games and many parents faced financial crisis.
